Wombat Shell has been certified with a water column of 10,000 mm. To define the level of waterproofing of a garment, a criterion called "water columns" has been established. This test is regulated by the ISO 811 standard, which sets that a fabric is waterproof when it exceeds 10,000 mm in water columns. This means that, in the case of a fabric with 10k or 10,000 mm, you can fill a square tube measuring 1 x 1 with water up to a height of 10,000 mm before water starts to seep through.
